The Hospice Care Association of Częstochowa was founded in 1993 as a non-profit organization for adults and children with chronic and incurable diseases, as well as for their families.
Our aim is to improve the quality of life of patients and their families through comprehensive and holistic care and symptomatic treatment, pain relief, relieving mental, spiritual and social suffering.
The main activity of the Association is home hospice care provided for adults and children. Various activities are conducted in the registered office of the Association: Stationary Unit of Palliative Care, Palliative Care Advisory Clinic, Daily Division of Palliative Care, Bereavement Advice Centre, Volunteer Centre, Training Centre and the Cancer Fighting Academy.
Our charitable and training activities include organizing concerts, public collections of money and public awareness campaigns, conferences, symposia as well as traineeships and apprenticeships.
We employ a professional team of more than 150 people including doctors, nurses, psychologists, chaplains, social workers, educators, therapists, support staff and volunteers.
